Sluggish activity on the Ukrainian market continues to force stock prices down, making the prospect of a recovery in the next 2-3 weeks doubtful , according to Oleh Morkva, CEO of Ineko-Invest.
Morkva said that “continued instability on the world financial markets, coupled with the Ukrainian economy’s worsening macro-economic indicators, has led to a gloomy outlook and has discouraged investors.”
Given the current volatility on the Ukrainian Market, Morkva said he would consider it a success if stocks were to return to last month’s prices by the end of April.
Morkva concluded that the 1.4 percent growth in the first ten days of April was insignificant and did not indicate the emergence of a positive trend in the upcoming weeks.
