Taiwan-based Archasia Design Group Limited won its bid to reconstruct the Olimpiysky National Sports Complex. The Family, Youth and Sports Ministry’s website reported the news.
On April 14, the tender committee held its final session to determine the best bidder. Of 24 committee members, 21 voted in favor of Archasia.
The Ministry said that Arcasia was a reputable company which had already signed a contract with Russia to construct an Olympic park for the 2014 Olympic games in Sochi.
On March 11, UNIAN reported that the Family, Youth and Sports Ministry had announced a tender competition for the best reconstruction project for the Olimpiysky Stadium.
April 7 was the bidding deadline and 19 projects were proposed by Ukrainian, Austrian, British, Chinese, German and Taiwanese companies.
